It would be nice to move the mouse over an ASCII character and see the cooresponding HEX be highlighted. It’s very difficult to coorelate the HEX and ASCII when viewing. In Hex format it would be nice to see the ASCII and HEX linkage I’ve been looking for this for a long time with no luck. Most are called a Unix executable file by the current Finder and that’s what this app calls them but they don’t get displayed. PICT files when they have vector information in them.
Maybe you have to tag an extension onto them or maybe it’s just not possible to read the old. Maybe they’ve lost their resource fork or something. pict files exported from Claris CAD and such.
PICT, I’m not having much luck with them. Although the application claims support for old file types like. So this “Yet Another NFO Viewer” project was originally planned to be a continuation/update on the “NFO Viewer” project by Kris Gybels and his open-source code repository over at .Īs this original project looked like it was compiled on an older Xcode and Mac OS X setup (probably 10.4), I had troubles getting it to compile on my current setup so I decided to completely re-write it from scratch on Mac OS X 10.6 using Xcode 3.2 so that I would be able to also produce a 64-bit binary.
